There is going to be new face representing the rural area of Osoyoos.
Mark Pendergraft knocked off incumbent Eike Scheffler for the Area A Director's seat at the Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen.
Pendergraft, who has lived in Osoyoos all of his life, captured 296 votes compared to Scheffler's 227.
I would like to thank everyone who made the extra effort to come out and vote this year, with a special thank you to those who supported me. Thanks also to past director Scheffler for his efforts the last three years.
