Tricia Savage, who owns Rattlesnake Canyon with her husband Paul, is asking people to fasten hockey sticks to the outside fence of the amusement park in tribute to those killed or injured in the recent accident involving the Humboldt Broncos.

She’s asking that people bring their own nylon cable ties and fasten the sticks themselves. ”

We’re going to leave them there all year,” she said. “It’s really close to our hearts because we’re huge hockey fans.”

Paul used to play against the Humboldt Broncos back in 1977 when he was with the Melville Millionaires. (Richard McGuire photo)
